Women Ride IB: SDCBC Inaugural Women’s Ride

Our Inaugural Women’s Ride! Choose from a road route or a mountain biking route!
Designed to inspire and engage more women from across all parts of San Diego to get on their bikes, this inaugural women’s ride will celebrate the love of bike riding we all share. It’s a unique experience to join hundreds of women of all ages and abilities for a group bike ride. Be sure to join us for the post ride bike festival featuring women owned/operated bicycling companies and wineries.
This event will be women-focused, but NOT exclusive!
Ride to give back! The event will also raise funds for the Bike Coalition to invest in more education programs dedicated to women and family bicycling, so you are supporting your local bike community!
Ride includes:
Choice of fully supported casual road ride or trail ride
Post ride festival and wine tasting featuring regional women owned and operated wines
Vendor festival with women focused products and exhibits
Food available on site
Special women focused workshops including bike maintenance
Two ride options!
Road Route: Casual bike ride from Bikeway Village to National City and back, estimated 18 miles total!
Trail Route: Otay River Valley Mountain Bike Ride – Join the San Diego Mountain Biking Association on a beginner 10 mile out and back mountain bike ride through Otay Valley Regional Park. Enjoy riding past ponds and native habitat for birds and other wildlife on a combination of wide trails and singletrack.
